It addresses two key research questions: (1) the internal and external factors influencing church multiplication, and (2) the role of theological\r\nframeworks in shaping these practices. \r\n\r\nBridge Church, grounded in the Gospel of the Kingdom theology, emphasizes relational depth, spiritual formation, and organic leadership transitions. While this approach fosters sustainable, mission-aligned growth, it faces challenges such as delayed multiplication and leadership fatigue, often influenced by life-stage constraints and strong relational bonds. In contrast, Green Hill Church adopts principles from the Church Growth Movement (CGM), prioritizing structured training, hierarchical efficiency, and rapid multiplication. Though effective in achieving numerical growth, this pragmatic approach can result in emotional strain, fragmented relationships, and premature leadership assignments.\r\n\r\nThe findings indicate that sustainable church multiplication requires a balance of theological integrity, relational trust, structured leadership pathways, and life-cycle sensitivity. Integrating the relational and theological depth of Kingdom theology with the strategic clarity of CGM offers a promising framework for growth. This study proposes a hybrid model that combines theological formation, mentorship-based leadership development, and adaptive strategies to foster mission-driven, culturally responsive, and inclusive multiplication practices within Korean and Korean immigrant church contexts."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"_version_":1831295062504374272,"timestamp":"2025-05-05T15:31:06.872Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-05-05T15:24:42Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-05T15:24:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"c66dce6f-3017-4016-94a8-d20aebe5b0fd","accessControl_ssim":["aaf6af3c-3c3e-4fd0-90c0-04bd295b8395"],"depositor_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"title_tesim":["Revitalization of the Urban Black Church: A Comparative Analysis of Six Black Churches in Kansas City"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-05-05T15:24:41Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-05T15:24:41Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["be65625c-73d5-41f6-b1c7-10abd0155fe0"],"hasLease_ssim":["6fe483e4-715d-47b7-a07e-c3004d5a2d7b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity International University"],"year_tesim":["2025"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. Key themes explored in this research include vision casting, membership retention, membership integration, and assessing components to revitalizing the urban Black church.\r\n\r\nSix churches were selected in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Three of them are thriving, while the other three were once thriving. A comparison and analysis were conducted to identify the common denominators among the six churches, exploring how they achieved and maintained their success and the methodologies they employed that could be applied to other churches in the greater Kansas City area and beyond. Over forty participants from the six churches took part in interviews, Zoom meetings, and roundtable discussions which addressed the key research problems. The information from those interviews was shared in a group setting that was particular to each individual church.\r\n\r\nThree major takeaways include how pastors dedicated specific time to clarify the vision and direction of their churches; how their visions were communicated through verbal and nonverbal messaging; and lastly, implementing and evaluating the processes and efforts utilized from the vision that resulted in discipleship and commitment to the church. In conclusion, pastors, church leaders, and church members were able to evaluate how they could achieve their goals, assess their organizational structure, and streamline their actions. This process led to a more consistent and relevant methodology for identifying strengths and weaknesses, executing plans, and achieving objectives.\r\n"],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"_version_":1831294662315343872,"timestamp":"2025-05-05T15:24:45.222Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-05-04T18:04:07Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-04T18:09:24Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"a7e3a588-8b23-472a-af0f-1b3ea89cd99e","accessControl_ssim":["2b8e5bf7-a8eb-41f4-8030-af1a7e1b3f6f"],"depositor_ssim":["mwineinger@pts.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["mwineinger@pts.edu"],"title_tesim":["Childless Couples: The High Cost of Infertility"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-05-04T18:04:07Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-04T18:09:24Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["73c58e13-5448-4fa8-8517-93585ed79ce0"],"hasLease_ssim":["75ce2240-1e81-4b18-8c2e-17c1eb7d8e3a"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"format_tesim":["PDF"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"discipline_tesim":["Creative Writing and Public Theology"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Dr. Ervin Dyer, PhD","R. Findings highlight how awareness, alignment, and action can transform both communities and congregations, offering a replicable model for churches seeking to serve the common good in urban settings."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-EDU/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["aholbrook@impactclt.org"],"_version_":1830949798141755392,"timestamp":"2025-05-01T20:03:17.117Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-05-01T17:39:53Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-02T13:48:55Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"03571d5f-d1af-4e64-8090-e6fa7b5b2975","accessControl_ssim":["1dde25b1-eb57-4ff7-b473-d743549f4c91"],"depositor_ssim":["jgolla@pts.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["jgolla@pts.edu"],"title_tesim":["Intentional Community as Witness to the Gospel"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-05-01T17:39:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-02T01:05:18Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["4a6f0236-7f7e-4b1b-99a2-c26198809329"],"hasLease_ssim":["404b453c-6e2a-47bd-ac37-f256985008d0"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"year_tesim":["2025"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
