This project offers alternate television programming from a Christian perspective for children in Arlington, Texas, by producing three pilot episodes of a children's television show. This project was accomplished by the author with the help of his congregation by developing a statement of mission and purpose.  Goals for continuing ministries developed from that statement then led to the necessity of expanding the facilities and, in this case, completely relocating them. The new facilities were consecrated in June, 1981, with over half of the total cost paid. The hypothesis was:  Effective incorporation and nurture of early adolescents in the Christian initiation process, particularly through preparation for Confirmation, is dependent upon a structured and active involvement on the part of the parents and godparents/sponsors in the faith community of the local parish.  A confirmation program was designed for 6th-graders and their parents.  Two tracks, one for the 6th-graders and one for the parents, ran concurrently during an eight-month period. The proposed model was tested with five selected test training groups and evaluated by trainee-evaluators of the same test groups.  The result was positive. Tape recorded interviews of 26 members of the church were conducted; the responses to eleven questions were submitted to five parish observers who prioritized the responses in terms of their own experience.
