The group was conducted through the Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center of Nacogdoches, Texas, for a period of seven weeks.  Twelve people chose to participate in the group led by the writer.  Presentations were also made by a pastoral counselor and clinical psychologist. Each session included an opportunity for group members to share their problems with one another. With emphasis on Christian value-oriented education and counseling the participants in the project were provided the opportunity to grow not only in clinical knowledge, but in theological and spiritual knowledge as well.  Control and experimental groups were involved.  Six one-hour training sessions and small group discussions were held. There was a significant decrease in death anxiety and uncomfortableness in sharing with others on the subject of death and dying. The author researched and validated the centrality of preaching in the Baptist churches and shows that although Baptist theology of Scripture is high, it is characterized by narrowness seen in the use of favorite Scripture themes and biblical books.  He researched Baptist pulpit giants and states their method of text selection of waiting upon the Holy Spirit. Using a survey of missiological literature, an examination of the christological background and three models of the incarnation developed from Johannine, Pauline and Matthean literature, a concept of incarnational mission is formed and applied to Australia as described in its historical, social and religious setting.
