Casual conversation among the members shares new episodes of that story, while their everyday lives provide the material for each episode. In small congregations and parishes of less than one hundred weekly worshippers, the intimately conversational nature of the sharing of the congregational story among the faithful membership has shaped the preaching into a form that is also conversational and faithful to the form of story. It is conversational, in that it is one offering in an ongoing exchange on matters of faith; and it is faithful, in that it pays closest attention to the form and content of the biblical story of which the Church in general and this parish in particular are continuing parts. The preacher is sometimes invited to converse with the congregation. It is an effort to explore the relationship between evangelistic strategy and personal evangelism, evangelistic strategy and training of co-workers, evangelistic strategy and organizational management, in order to set up a comprehensive evangelistic strategy for St. Paul Chinese Christian Church, and carry out the goal of 'Attempt great things for God; Rescue millions of souls.' Recently many evangelical churches and organizations following and practicing the Great Commission of the Lord have sent short-term mission teams to St. Paul and planted churches in this area.
