Welch College is a Christian college located in Gallatin, Tennessee, and is owned and operated by the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Inc. To develop an organizational strategy, I examined internal audits of the Office for Institutional Advancement, explored existing advancement departments of select Christian colleges, and researched current literature in the field of Christian higher education fundraising and development to determine best practices. Using the discovered best practices and information gleaned from the audits and surveys, I led a strategy planning team through a strategic planning process to \r\ndevelop an organizational strategy for the Office for Institutional Advancement. The final strategy included (1) the purpose for the advancement strategy, (2) seven strategic waypoints that govern the strategy, (3) needed personnel, (4) principles for implementation of the strategy, and (5) potential pitfalls or threats to the strategy. Using a multimedia presentation, I presented the finished redesigned organizational strategy to the President of Welch College, Dr. J. Matthew Pinson, and his leadership team."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["kstamant@nobts.edu"],"_version_":1834750276319313920,"timestamp":"2025-06-12T18:50:15.545Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-06-12T18:44:08Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-06-12T18:44:10Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"df74352c-0357-4b82-9c8c-bedc6b8b8ad4","accessControl_ssim":["d9c2c179-09b1-47ed-af45-fe894005b69d"],"depositor_ssim":["kstamant@nobts.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["kstamant@nobts.edu"],"title_tesim":["Developing a Discipleship Strategy to Partner Parents and the Student Ministries of First Baptist Church, New Albany, Mississippi"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-06-12T18:44:08Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-06-12T18:44:08Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["51ec09a9-671a-4f3e-94dc-088e5b8024ad"],"hasLease_ssim":["2e672359-2686-4d78-9b1f-16b451874342"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["DMin"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Dr Andrew Ogea"],"year_tesim":["2025"],"location_tesim":["Mississippi"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. Equipped with these growth skills, leaders can enlarge the organization more effectively."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["kstamant@nobts.edu"],"_version_":1834741727044304896,"timestamp":"2025-06-12T16:34:22.321Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-06-05T16:13:02Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-06-05T16:13:04Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"60f95c97-fd49-4cd8-8050-3908bd8a9050","accessControl_ssim":["4ac688e1-d94a-4ecb-9d5c-88d519422b05"],"depositor_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"title_tesim":["THE CHURCH FOR A PLACE: THE MOSAIC YOUNG ADULT INITIATIVE IN WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS AS A CASE STUDY"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-06-05T16:13:01Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-06-05T16:13:01Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ca5805d0-0396-46bf-85bb-3f16160ecc2b"],"hasLease_ssim":["a802669c-8547-49aa-b89d-ccbc1be25bf8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity International University"],"year_tesim":["2025"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. Using a mixed methods approach of in-depth interviews, small group interviews, and document analysis, the project presents data from nine pastors and twelve young adults, along with analysis from Mosaic Young Adult Initiative documents. The findings suggest formational and missional value\r\nof a place-based church collaboration in the spiritual lives of young adults. Values and practices are identified for working with young adults, strengthening church culture, and positively influencing the community. Further, the project analysis highlights possibilities for collective impact and collective formation through a place-based church collaboration, informed by a\r\nspatial-ecclesial imagination. Such a theological vision compels churches to see and work beyond their own boundaries for broader city-wide influence and deeper discipleship of young adults. This research demonstrates the benefits of a place-based approach to church partnerships, spiritual formation, and missional engagement. It also suggests prospects for complementary strategies to church planting through place-based hub planting. Lastly, it illustrates how place-based church networks may serve as mentoring ecosystems for young adult faith formation in the context of city-wide collective impact.\r\n\r\nKeywords: church, space, place, young adults, collective impact, collective formation, spatial ecclesial imagination"],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"_version_":1834106209110589440,"timestamp":"2025-06-05T16:13:05.190Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2025-05-23T16:16:27Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-23T16:16:31Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f7a4f294-b1c4-4245-a0d4-8bb35895d530","accessControl_ssim":["8f4adb33-55a1-42e5-bc9e-c4f9bb62bbb5"],"depositor_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"title_tesim":["Evangelism via Tools of Digital Communication The Benefits of Alpha Online Courses"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2025-05-23T16:16:27Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2025-05-23T16:16:27Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["c9ce1b25-0c4f-4571-b4e4-27e8a12e32ab"],"hasLease_ssim":["1c9464e5-5c99-4482-b421-0d5351fa5ae9"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity International University"],"year_tesim":["2024"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. During the years of the Corona Virus pandemic, numbers of digitally mediated meetings via Zoom skyrocketed. Likewise, many churches that previously conducted the Alpha Course via the in-person format made a transition to offer the Alpha Online Course. This research project has sought to understand and articulate the spiritual dynamics of an Alpha Online Course with particular attention to\r\npeople who converted to faith through the online medium. This researcher explored how a local church might spread the gospel and reach people effectively in the digital realm through interactive online meetings, and why it should consider this way of evangelism as a viable means of evangelism.\r\n\r\nIncorporating evidence from literature, Scripture, participant observation, and twenty qualitative interviews, this study argues that the Alpha Course offered via the Zoom video conference has the potential to create a social space that is equal to if not preferred to in person courses. Alpha Course Online is an effective means of evangelism. It provides the participant(s) as well as the facilitator(s) with a means to balance the degree of closeness and distance. \r\n\r\nIn contrast to in-person Alpha Courses, Alpha Online provides people an opportunity to participate in emotionally and spiritually engaging meetings. This study shows that participants adjust quickly to the digital format and in this setting may engage in discussion, expressing their thoughts clearly and handling their emotions self-responsibly without embarrassment. The Alpha Course Online allows both intimacy and privacy at the same time. It enables people to reach a deeper level of conversation more quickly than expected. Hence, Alpha Online is more than a supplement; it represents a possible solution to overcome reservations of facilitators, as well as participants regarding evangelism."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["dminadmin@tiu.edu"],"_version_":1832928667211137024,"timestamp":"2025-05-23T16:16:33.724Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":13089,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
