The project director investigated the demographics of Hispanic Free Will Baptists to determine potential needs for biblical training. He explored existing models of Spanish biblical higher education in the United States to discover best practices. The project director presented the research to a selected team and developed a strategy to expand the curriculum of the Spanish Institute of Welch College. Second, after studying the field of curriculum design, I used the research on personal evangelism skills to write a four-session training curriculum. At selected points within the implementation of the project, I enlisted expert evaluators and select members  of First Baptist Church, Locust Grove, Georgia, to respond with questionnaires, assessments, or reviews —in accordance with their roles. The decline in membership and attendance was the catalyst behind revitalization for this church. My initial research and discovery focused on the external demographics of the surrounding community. The next area of study was church revitalization, which resulted in an executive summary of best \r\npractices of church revitalization. A vision team was created to build a  strategy, strengthen the congregation, and grow the church into a healthy  body of believers. The vision team and I evaluated GBC's internal demographics, conducted an internal church survey, and created a report of critical needs. The team developed a revitalization strategy for the church using external and internal demographics, best practices, and a report of \r\ncritical needs. The revitalization strategy was presented to Golfview Baptist Church, Lake Wales, Florida, for approval and implementation. Despite previous programs, the church lacked a clear, long-term process for making disciples. Through the project, I aimed to define a biblical understanding of a disciple, establish a biblical basis for disciplemaking, and research best practices. In phase one, I researched relevant materials to identify these best practices and  assessed the congregation’s diverse needs and spiritual maturity levels. In phase two, I collaborated with the strategy development team to develop a comprehensive and tailored disciple-making strategy designed to inform and \r\nequip every ministry context within Promise Land to make disciples. In phase  three, once finalized, I presented the strategy to the deacons, lay leadership, and congregation, outlining its biblical foundations and seeking their affirmation. The project model chosen for this task was the preaching skills enhancement model. The project began with research: first in apologetics preaching and then in Christian apologetics. Once  research was complete, I used the information gathered to develop a sermon series addressing selected apologetics topics for the Calvary Baptist Church congregation and then delivered the sermons to the congregation. I gathered congregational and professional feedback on the sermons after the series was delivered. In the first phase of this project, I explored existing discipleship methods to determine best practices and conducted a church survey to reveal the spiritual health of FBC. A demographic study revealed the spiritual health of Neshoba County. Third, with the deacon’s approval, I selected a strategy team from the FBC membership and included the ministerial staff. The team and I used the summary of best practices, results from the spiritual survey of FBC, and the demographic study of Neshoba County to develop a strategy. The strategy team evaluated the accumulated methods of making disciples and created a discipleship strategy for FBC. Finally, the strategy team helped establish a course of action for presenting the discipleship strategy to the deacon body and congregation. I presented the strategy and implementation plan to the deacon body for feedback and approval. The deacons unanimously approved the discipleship strategy. I am in the process of preaching through the discipleship strategy in Sunday morning worship, and some of the members of  the strategy team have established pilot D-Groups. From this, along with other  church members, five pilot D-Groups have been meeting this fall. To accomplish this purpose, I, the project director, conducted research in the fields of discipleship and curriculum development. From this research, I identified essential skills of a disciple-maker: character of Christ, disciplines of Christ, communion with Christ, and humility of Christ. Once these skills were identified, I developed a five-session curriculum and implemented this curriculum in a two-day weekend workshop. In the weekend workshop the project director utilized different teaching techniques to engage participants; cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of learning. The attendants \r\nparticipated in various evaluations specific to each of the three domains of  learning. I used various assessments to evaluate the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of the participants. The project began by describing the role of hospice care as part of end-of-life-care\r\nservices. It then looked into the perceived biases (both theological and cultural) related to the Indian Christian population.\r\n\r\nThe research was conducted in the form of a survey with forty families and ten pastors that represented various denominations and language groups. The survey assessed how the families of the deceased viewed hospice care and why they chose to accept or decline these services for their loved ones. The response from the survey was analyzed and categorized into areas of theology, culture, and education.\r\n\r\nThe research results showed that the lack of knowledge related to hospice care among Indian Christians was a significant factor in their reluctance to use this service. It also showed that there were cultural factors that contributed to the lack of interest in this service by the families. As part of this project, I conducted an online survey of forty-seven people and interviewed ten people from the 2nd generation Indian Pentecostal diaspora to identify the reasons related to their leaving their respective churches. The study was done over two months, and the results provided a better understanding of the issues contributing to their decision. The survey revealed that the lack of spiritual growth, church politics, and lifestyle issues such as lack of role models and emphasis against wearing jewelry were the primary reasons for the 2nd generation leaving the Indian Pentecostal diaspora churches in Chicagoland.\r\n\r\nThe study results also showed that while most of those who left the Indian Pentecostal diaspora churches in Chicago still identified as Pentecostals, they chose to attend ‘non-denominational’ churches regularly. Most respondents agreed that they missed the community aspect of the Indian Pentecostal church but concluded that they would not return to an Indian Pentecostal Church in the future.
