Then, he identified a strategy development team and led planning meetings to review the findings from the research and design a discipleship strategy. The project began with faith formation research to discover faith transmission skills. The research included books, other ministries, and students and young adults in the ministry setting who continue to be active in their faith.\r\n\r\nThe next step was developing a curriculum to equip selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The curriculum came from the research conducted in the previous step. To help me gain skills in curriculum writing, I completed the book Design for Teaching and Training by LeRoy Ford. The new skills, combined with the knowledge gained from the research, resulted in a curriculum.\r\n\r\nThe last step was equipping selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The parents were taught using cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning. This purpose was achieved by completing four project goals. The first goal was to explore BLBC’s internal demographics. I developed a Spiritual Health Survey designed to assess basic Bible knowledge, faithfulness in\r\npersonal spiritual disciplines, and engagement in disciple-making practices. This survey also captured denominational background, city of origin, gender, and generational category. The second goal was to explore methods and models of disciple-making to identify essential elements and best practices. I examined scholarly resources and proven models developed by respected practitioners in the field. The third goal was to create a disciple-making strategy. I recruited and trained a strategy planning team (SPT) that represented a cross-section of the church and led them in developing the strategy. This\r\nSPT included youth group members, ministry leaders, faithful laypersons, and a deacon. The final project goal was to present the finished strategy to the church. Second, based on the theoretical foundation and research on the missional church's pastoral strategy, a missional pastoral strategy was developed taking into account the current situation, environment, culture, and characteristics and needs of the community at Peaceland Church. It is hoped that the developed missional pastoral strategy will restore the mission and essence of the church and effectively convey the gospel. Third, the developed missional pastoral strategy is planned to be presented to selected leaders of Peaceland Church and then utilized upon approval by the church. The project director selected married couples of the church, and he equipped them with marriage mentoring skills. These couples became in turn potential coaches with the ability to train other couples living with marital issues. This ensures a granted path to the transmission of values, skills, and character qualities, focusing on a lifetime marriage.\r\n\r\nThe project director began to research the field of marriage mentoring and to identify essential skills. The result of this research drove him to design a workshop plan using the existing workshop models, comparing and analyzing them in order to reach the most effective training workshop in marriage mentoring. With the findings of his research, the project director completed the workshop by drafting and delivering a series of training sessions to equip the selected couples of First Haitian Baptist Church of Pompano Beach, Florida, with marriage mentoring skills. Discipleship is an element that this church has been missing. The church has used the Sunday morning pulpit and attendance in Sunday school as the discipleship strategy. The issue is the church has not had a strategy to intentionally help people grow closer and be changed by Jesus. The purpose of this strategy was to create a strategy which would promote intentional discipleship for the adults of Liberty Baptist Church. I will utilize demographic studies, research, and a strategy team to develop a strategy for Liberty Baptist. The project was motivated by a desire to develop and deploy a diverse and well-equipped team of leaders to serve Crossings’s rapidly growing number of guests and prospective members. I completed the project by meeting three primary objectives. The first was to research the field of local church assimilation to identify prospective member assimilation skills. The second was to develop a curriculum to equip selected Crossings leaders with these skills. The third and final objective was to equip these leaders through the delivery of this prepared curriculum. During the implementation of the project, I utilized multiple assessment tools to validate the completion of these objectives, including an annotated \r\nbibliography, an assimilation skills list, several expert evaluators utilizing prepared rubrics, and pre- and post-assessments for participants. Through focus groups and interviews, this project demonstrated that \r\nafter an individual embarks on a journey of genetic research substantiated with DNA testing in \r\nconversation with biblical genealogies, they will have a greater sense of belonging within the faith \r\ncommunities in which they are called to go serve.
