Any assumption can only be valid as it represents a complementary segment of that whole."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Perkins School of Theology"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["9d359def-dc0f-4ac7-a978-8df771bc0984"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799720794178191360,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:11:38.110Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:32Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:09:06Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"88764c13-df19-4168-b563-bba9d0fc97d1","accessControl_ssim":["012b1a95-8bc7-4bad-8eab-61eec5e69fc6"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The development of women's theological consciousness within the ecumenical association of third world theologians"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:31Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:08:51Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ae58e10b-e844-4dd2-bd8b-c8ca61488a1a"],"hasLease_ssim":["c91b166d-ff94-4986-8b3c-16acd978405a"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Letty Mandeville Russell"],"year_tesim":["1992"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Virginia Fabella"],"publisher_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Women","Women--Religious life","Ecumenical Association of Third World Theologians","Theologians, Women","Developing countries"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The study traces the theological journey of African, Asian, and Latin American women within the Ecumenical Association of Third World Theologians (EATWOT). An historical study, it begins with an overview of EATWOT, showing the marginal role of its women members. Consequently, the women formed a commission within EATWOT with its own program of 'doing theology from the perspective of Third World women.' The rest of the chapters focus on the growth of the women's theological consciousness, first corporately through the work of the commission, then individually through the separate stories of eight of its members. The final chapters analyze the factors that helped or hindered the growth, assess the women's contribution to theology, and suggest the future work to be done by EATWOT and the women's commission."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["38714359-d032-4ed0-ae3f-cb82c8f65a92"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799716860866854912,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:09:07.012Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:32Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:34:05Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"7c8a8671-7b1b-4e42-b0f7-6281e87328ec","accessControl_ssim":["35a6e6b3-efa7-478a-9647-1f15aec703ab"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Descriptive dissertation on the effective utilization of word pictures in distinctive narrative sermon designs.."],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:31Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:48:29Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["5c5d9b71-dea6-41af-91c6-1f2ab85556b2"],"hasLease_ssim":["9fcd0292-e1bb-456b-8dd7-f8b31e55bec0"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Donald E Demaray"],"year_tesim":["1992"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Homer E Morris"],"keyword_tesim":["Sermons--Illustrations"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Sermons","Whiteville United Methodist Church (Whiteville, NC)","Induction (Logic)","Narrative preaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Subtitle: As interpreted by the Boyd Stokes Questionnaire in the adult Sunday school classes of the Whiteville United Methodist Church. The purpose of this dissertation is to record the degree of effectiveness which word pictures, embedded in inductively formatted sermons, had in the adult Sunday school classes of the Whiteville United Methodist Church. The thesis of this study is that when a minister utilizes inductive sermon designs in his or her adult Sunday school classes, the majority of all responses will be positive. The end result will be a desire by both the speaker and hearers to make further use of these distinctive inductive formats. The instrument used as a measuring device is the Boyd Stokes Questionnaire. This form was administered after each sermon was preached, and an overall average response factor was determined from the resultant data. The conclusive information from this project affirmed McCarthy and Lewis in their clinical estimations of right brain orientation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["6c1e11e8-b66e-47b6-8fe9-6c546c20935c"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134374081593344,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:34:09.794Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:31Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:12:01Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"bcd8af40-d5ba-4404-b516-d68e9c6163fa","accessControl_ssim":["5660889b-02a0-4a06-839f-9dec3b6e14d7"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Faith's body: a hermeneutic examination of recent Unitarian Universalist theology"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:04:28Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:34:26Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["f4bd763b-684e-45eb-bbff-461b5049bdc3"],"hasLease_ssim":["e8de6f51-586a-4b93-b1d8-60622c5228c6"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"advisor_tesim":["John Godbey"],"year_tesim":["1991"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["John W Baros-Johnson"],"keyword_tesim":["Unitarian Universalist Association--Doctrine"],"publisher_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"subject_tesim":["Fleck, G Peter","Burhoe, Ralph Wendell, 1911-1997","Unitarian Universalist Association","Howlett, Duncan","Truth--Religious aspects--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Most Unitarian Universalist theologies since Emerson have been based on the direct intuition of intangible, eternal truths.
