Students have needs that can be met by the BSU director (campus minister) being involved on campus by teaching a class.  An orientation class was taught using ideas observed and researched by the director.  Class time consisted of lectures, guest speakers, questionnaires, class participation, games and a video. The result was that needs of the college students were discovered. Two testing instruments were used as pre-tests and post-tests.  Test scores indicated a significant increase in interpersonal communication skills. Specific training with co-church members was provided for the five women chosen to continue in the project.  The women were encouraged to see that ministry through activities on property and the building of relationships for evangelism was the entry point, but the beginning of on-site congregations was the goal.  Mission-minded women are interested in the needs of multihousing communities and are willing to be trained, but need a structure within which to work, and are hesitant to begin congregationalizing efforts without much encouragement and support from their church leaders.
