Four sermons were preached in a worship setting, two deductive and two inductive. Eventually, by recognizing salvation even in other religions, in Christian theology salvation without Jesus became possible.  In contrast, the Korean church keeps the Jesus-only faith, prays always, believes the Bible to be the Word of God and experiences the filling of the Holy Spirit.  It is certain that the Korean church will be a faithful missionary church obeying the Great Commission. The systems approach provided a significant shift in perception about the congregation, which enabled the pastor to bring positive action to a very difficult situation. The historical roots of prayer through African traditional religions and the Bible were examined.  The theological and functional disciplines of prayer were integrated through a field study of non-academic devotional literature.  A review of denominational hymnals of National Baptist, African Methodist Episcopal and Church of God in Christ was included.  Finally, prayers from literature and the arts, mass meetings, music, and devotions/worship experiences were cited. Two main elements directed this search: four special 'period' worship services, and an 'experimental' service (focused on a potential future worship style).
