It proposes an understanding of ritual inclusive of non-traditional, newly formed, and experience-specific ritual expression.  The project data, derived from two groups, each meeting for six sessions, supports the thesis that individuals are able to fashion and enact meaningful rituals expressive of shared experience and beliefs.  Further, such ritual expression contributes to a holistic, personal and communal growth in faith. The initial data were generated by a questionnaire specifically designed and directed to the fourteen congregational owners.  A provincial status was then developed and circulated, accompanied by a survey validation document. A worship committee was organized and instructed in the Presbyterian Directory of Worship.  Surveys were distributed to families and small groups before and after two special worship series, to evaluate the congregation's worship life.  Each series responded to needs expressed in the initial survey.
