The design of system analysis provided an excellent way of organizing and developing the project. The methodology was to use surveys, committee evaluations and committee reports.  The committee reports were presented to the church.  System analysis was used to study each ministry.  The result was a ten-percent increase in awareness of the ministries of First Baptist Church.  A similar increase was evidenced in the involvement of the members in ministry. The writer met weekly for six weeks with each of four volunteer directors.  Each supervisory session was structured to cover specific learning assignments for both the volunteer and the supervisor.  Various instruments facilitated each learning activity, including planned reading, skills development, and a covenant for ministry and supervision.  The writer developed supervision skills in listening, communication, and planning.  The volunteers received training through collaborative inquiry and ministry examination. By involving members in a prescribed pedagogical program the project sought to achieve three objectives: 1. an increased theological understanding of Christian worship; 2. an increased awareness of and participation in the worship service; and 3. an increased awareness of children's worship.  Two groups were enlisted.  A test group was involved in five pedagogical sessions; a control group was not.  A worship questionnaire was developed to show comparative scores before and after the pedagogical program.  Allport, Vernon, and Lindzey's 'Study of Values' was used to determine the effects of the project on personal values.  Both instruments indicated that the project's objectives were attained. The method for developing the manual was through a committee composed of Puerto Rican pastors, leaders, and missionaries.  The committee developed and produced the manual, with a final workshop to field test it. There are seven steps in the manual which a church growth committee in the local church can follow in the process of developing a healthy church. The committee presented the manual to pastors and leaders of the Puerto Rico Baptist Association in a two-day retreat. It concerns the development of a workshop and teaching manual on the biblical instructions which are given to parents. The project sought to enhance and expand the ministry of Faith Mountain Fellowship Church.  The church selected an associate pastor, minister of music and missions, minister of adult education, and a children's director who conducted ministry events applicable to their positions and ministries.  The ministry objectives of the participants were realized by planning, executing, and evaluating ministry events which improved their skills by in-service training.  Church objectives were accomplished by involving individuals in leadership roles and providing them with opportunities for significant ministry achievements. They have limited Southern Baptist experience.  This project is designed to help these church members cooperate as Southern Baptists. Experimental and control groups were tested on knowledge, attitudes and involvement in Southern Baptist polity and the Southern Baptist cooperative program.  The experimental group was trained in six two-hour sessions in these areas. Both groups were tested at the conclusion of the sessions. Questionnaires to the community, church and other similar Southern Baptist churches were used to provide data. Information drawn from the results of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator also aided in the development of the plan.  The concept of 'church types' provided help in determining goals for the congregations. Individuals discovered the unique needs of their congregation through guided lectures and brainstorming sessions utilizing historical, personal and biblical resources.  They then defined biblical understandings of New Testament church growth.  From this they developed strategies for growth that addressed their specific needs, and embraced these biblical insights.  The growth process, thus defined, involved and equipped participants for service in their respective congregations. It explores pastors' experiences with and their denial of loneliness.  The study explores both the necessity and the possibility of embracing loneliness within pastoral ministry.  The disclosive sample of five married, parish-based Lutheran clergy, basically through interviews and a nine-month long group seminar, expresses and engages experiences of loneliness in pastoral ministry.  It is discovered that loneliness is a real experience in pastoral ministry, often experienced and perceived in negative terms.
