The textbook was designed to serve two functions: 1) to convey information from the Jewish traditional literature on Tzedaka, and 2) to modify student behaviors from non-Tzedaka-prone to Tzedaka-prone. The emergence of metaphor in language is explored and a working hypothesis is posited that the metaphor is the main bridge between ourselves and an understanding of our relationship to reality.  The author proposes the use of seven interactional metaphors as a way of helping clients to understand the recurring dynamics of their marital system. Results: People from mainline churches claimed religious experiences that associate with natural reality and extend service that is humanistic and personal in orientation.
