The project results were mixed, but mostly encouraging. Project participants were challenged and stretched regarding their attitudes, perceptions and theology. They became aware of essential diversity issues and personal behaviors that were incongruent with appropriate belief. They were inspired and empowered to participate and take ownership in initiating change of their own culture. Participants were seven adults from Good Tree Christian Fellowship who experienced an offense leading to negative emotions. The Enright Forgiveness Inventory measured changes in participants' affect, behavior, and cognition towards an offender. All participants showed growth in each domain with a group average of 26.7% in affect, 10.0% in behavior, and 8.3% in cognition. This project examined two coaching tools, Gallup StrengthsFinder and World Harvest Mission Gospel-Centered Life, to determine if using them in combination improved team effectiveness to a greater degree than using either tool alone.  Seventeen participants on two core leadership teams from church plants in urban Philadelphia were trained with both tools.  The qualitative research was conducted by self-evaluation surveys that gathered  information before and after each phase of training. The focus was on the heart of the believer because I am convinced that leadership development and committed participation are intimately linked with proper, effective spiritual formation. To prepare for the project, I researched appropriate literature, and established a core group of believers who were willing to participate. Twenty-two believers initially participated in the first workshop, and most continued through the seven-week project.
