For the children and youth there were Sunday school classes, seminars, Muslim guests, and a children's sermon on symbols of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Adults learned through classes, panel discussions, seminars, book groups and guests.  All ages studied the basic tenets of Islam. Similarities and dissimilarities between Islam and Christianity were explored. This survey required a self examination in this area. Thirty volunteers from the membership took the survey and the findings are documented accordingly. It is significant to note the voice from the women, which represented the majority of the participants, are as unsupportive as men regarding women in leadership roles. Nine individuals were asked what made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Common influence factors were identified which the group members shared and which made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Twenty-seven participants answered forty-five discovery questions concerning their missional experiences. Their responses revealed that they had been transformed by the Holy Spirit and graciously answered the call to missional servanthood. The project took place over a period of five months between September 2010 and January 2011. The director of the Baptist Student Union at Pearl River Community College structured the project around personal interviews, teaching sessions, and a silent retreat.
