The sessions were held during eight weeks with two hours per session consisting of lectures, Power Point presentations, experiential exercises, and journaling. The six participants were assessed through pre- and post-test consisting of a Likert scale instrument as well as open-ended questions.  The transformation process in the six participants' was assessed following the eight-week sessions. Using a pro-active research method, members were surveyed and interviewed, resulting in a grief program which includes education, grief groups and systematic follow-up. It was discovered during the project that evangelism was a surprising benefit of the grief process. The project was conducted as a twelve-week, weekly small group experience. Specifically considered in this dissertation are the shame wounds of men. The degree of impact for this project was determined by five goals. The results conclude that HCG does positively impact the inner healing of men. This project focused on a group of preachers who gathered to engage scripture in creative ways and then to continue practices individually. The author explored ways in which intentionally making time for spiritual practices affects the preacher as well as the sermon. The research involved a twelve-week study of a lectionary group of preachers, interviews of numerous preachers outside the group, and journal entries. Using a 5 level-Likert scale questionnaire, the toolkit was evaluated by clergy, pastoral counselors, and lay church members. The toolkit was evaluated for potential usefulness, current helping models of practice, comprehensiveness, conciseness, accessibility, and potential for favorable outcomes. Quantitative data was analyzed using predictive analytics software and qualitative questionnaire data analyzed using a conceptually clustered matrix. This study connects pilgrimage with the contemporary theological dialogue about Christian practices, particularly relying on the work of Dorothy Bass. The research examines one congregation's exploration of pilgrimage. This project focuses on the implementation of missional principles in a particular congregation to shift its narrative of decline to a narrative of revitalization. The report explores Second Presbyterian Church's historical identity leading to its period of decline, identifies missional principles, and then traces the narrative of the implementation of those principles within the congregation. This has implications for the practice of the Christian faith.  In my ministry persons coming to me are struggling to re-contextualize their faith in these realities.  In this thesis I use the cosmology of Thomas Berry who links the three governing principles of the universe (differentiation, autopoiesis and communion) to the Trinity, then develop evolutionary and Trinitarian theology, applying it to my development of the integral program of Village Earth. When in reality the sharing is taking place in the everyday world amongst the chaos of a routine day.  What we think may be chaos is in reality engaging with the community to carry out the work of the Holy Spirit. The report explores the conversations of twelve parents with children ages two to eighteen.  Using observation and parents themselves as co-researchers to explore how they share and teach spirituality with their children.
