The first part of the project is based on library research. The second is interviewing and analyzing other pastors in the Korean American church and congregation.  Because of conflicts and splits, the Korean American church is unhealthy and too weak to lead society and young people despite the church's great growth. Both pastors and congregations need to renew their understanding of the relationships that cause conflicts and splits leading to a spiritual maturity and the idea of a vital community. The Korean American church must practice new spirituality initiating and sustaining interdependent relationships internally and externally. Combining his own 15 years of experience with mainland China student ministry in Europe, what he has learned from the D.Min program at Logos Evangelical Seminary, and the study of Paul's missionary strategies and attitudes in the Bible, the writer provides European churches with recommendations on how to develop appropriate strategies for Chinese students/scholars ministry and their vision of future work. Participants were guided through a process of learning to develop skills for listening to God, self and others. Listening to God is based on prayer in the style taught by Father Thomas Keating. Guided spiritual autobiography is used to help members better listen to one's own life experiences and one another's. Participants are taught basic empathic listening skills and encouraged to show God's love to others, developing Godbearing within group members. The Godbearing concept is based upon Elaine Robinson's book of the same name. The process develops Godbearing as a model for listening-based evangelism. It focuses on the diversity of others and forming genuine relationships. It is not one of conversion, but listening to what God is already doing in the faith life of the person. Participants who report a high score in one of Erikson's stages are expected to report a high score as a result of the influence of religious tradition, for that stage. The Seventh-day Adventist church has its own unique culture, traditions, conservative principles and philosophy that are grounded in the 28 fundamental beliefs of the church. The researcher approached this research project believing that certain metaphors would be more comforting to his members than others. Therefore, the researcher sought to discover which eternal life metaphors were more comforting through the use of a research survey. He then held research group interviews to learn why these metaphors were more comforting than others. He conducted a workshop on narrative preaching, with a group of pastors from southern Brazil, designed to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating the theory and practice of narrative preaching into the pastors' ministry. Questionnaires, written sermons, and written evaluations were reviewed upon completion of the workshop. It is based on a practical application of the intersection between ethics and religious education. Research included information on the purpose, resources and programs of interfaith web sites and local interfaith groups. A review of interfaith literature on peacemaking, ethics, community and religious education was supplemented with interviews with specialists in these areas including scholars, spiritual leaders and religious educators. A model for an interfaith program is presented, as well as resources for faith communities who seek to implement the model.
