The remaining six hundred go largely unconsidered. But 2 Timothy 3:16 implies that all the laws are profitable for Christians. This project thus introduces the BETA method-a theocentric, non-legalistic approach to the laws of the Pentateuch by which preachers can interpret and proclaim the laws in a Christian way. This method recognizes the 'transcendent perpetuity' of Old Testament law and is consistent with the three uses of the law as promoted by historic Reformed theology. The project also introduces the legal collections in Exodus, including the Decalogue, the Book of the Covenant, and the tabernacle-priesthood regulations, seeking to pay careful attention to their narrative contexts and historical-cultural backgrounds. Many good and varied ministries were taking place, but none were connected with each other, and most were not based upon the vision of the annual conference.  The author needed to find a way to network leaders, ministries and local churches.  The bishop and extended cabinet determined that the Leadership3 Incubator process was to be implemented as a spiritual and leadership development tool.  The author was invited to participate in an incubator with the bishop and his appointive cabinet.  Part of that process was to create a ministry action plan appropriate for the author's work. She decided to develop a cohesive Connectional Ministries Council by leading an incubator group with the executive team, the connectional ministries conference staff, the conference lay leader, a district superintendent and the bishop's administrative assistant.  This project paper rehearses the connecting lessons from the past, especially from the early days of John Wesley, and offers ways to adapt them for current times. A review of pastoral care and homiletical literature was conducted; twenty experienced United Methodist elders were interviewed; and four sermons were submitted that had been preached on a Sunday immediately following a preacher's difficult life event. After analysis, it was discovered that preachers relate to the topics they preach about. The concept of the risen Christ as the beginning of the new creation was used to affect the participants' formation in four areas: care for material creation, care for our physical bodies, proper understanding of God-centered worship, and continual dependence on Christ our Shepherd. Participants were tested before and after the project and showed much of the desired formational improvement. The case of this study is Ehwa Media High School.  this study proposes a spiritual education with these steps: meeting God, meeting our neighbors, and meeting ourselves.  It suggests the following proposals: spiritual education is needed in religious education of the school.  Knowledge-based religious education needs to be reconsidered.  Spiritual education brings about the participation of students and their transformation.  Spiritual education helps students have a good image of Christianity. The conduct of this project included interpersonal communication surveys of the participants, six hours of instruction in interpersonal communication, followed by a written examination. The participants were then evaluated by the project director in the practice of their interpersonal communication skills within a small group setting. The focus of the research included an exegesis of 2 Peter 1 (included in Chapter 2) and historical methods of discipleship (included in Chapter 3).  Chapter 4 of the project describes the fifteen-week project that was used to teach the biblical and historical material, leading to the following conclusion:  2 Peter 1 provides an essential framework for discipleship as taught in the home in conjunction with instruction in the local church. Research followed a mixed-method approach. Interviews with nationals were followed by the development of a survey instrument. Thirty-three church planters trained by Crossover Communications International were studied. The research studied motivation and de-motivation from six perspectives: spiritual, economic, political/religious, relational, ministry activities, and training. The study found that Moldovan church planters were motivated most by spiritual vibrancy and close relationships.
