The author first examines the religious and cultural situation in Northeastern Mexico. Then a review of ethnographic and hermeneutic literature describe currents that lie behind ethnographic and biblical interpretation. Both disciplines are driven by worldviews and these worldviews can interfere with the understanding the natives' point of view. The author concludes that the two disciplines are similar, but differences in the precision are because one is a message while the other deals with general themes. This project is unique in evaluating the relationship of individualist and collectivist values and spiritual growth among university students in Navigator ministries. Does either collectivist or individualist cultural orientation predict spiritual growth? Conversely, how does spiritual growth predict cultural orientation' do Christ-followers become more collectivist as they obey biblical 'one another' commands? Some of the surprising research results may be attributed to demographic characteristics and the rapidly changing behavioral level of university students around the world. The topic will be approached by integrating anthropology, missiology, and theology. The book of Acts provides the theological foundation. Anthropological insights evolved in Christian ministry to influence two of the foremost Christian authors on spiritual warfare, Peter Wagner and Charles Kraft. However, Christian leaders over the centuries have often instilled within its followers a negative viewpoint of sex. After tracing the evolution of Christian ideas regarding the subject, this paper examines research literature regarding the correlations between Christianity and sexuality. This report also examines embodiment theology as a potential antidote to Christian negations of sexuality as well as the research regarding how a Christian affirmation of sexuality correlates with sexual satisfaction. The project seeks to design a process for developing biblically healthy pastoral leadership. Chapter 1 presents the purpose, goals, context, rationale, definitions, and limitations of the project. Chapter 2 discusses biblical and theological perspectives on leadership in the lives of Jesus and Paul. Specifically, this chapter develops the role of servant leadership in the ministries of Jesus and Paul, and espouses it as the biblical model. Chapter 3 surveys leadership as an intellectual discipline and presents a model for biblically healthy pastoral leadership. This chapter also explores the dynamics of team based leadership and gives examples of disciplines common to great leaders. Chapter 4 explains the creation and implementation of the Arizona Leadership Network. Attention is given to the five developmental phases of the project and to the transformational development of a leader from personal leadership to organizational effectiveness. Chapter 5 provides an evaluation of the project goals along with modifications that could be made to strengthen the project for future use. Preachers should focus instead on those prisoners who are trying to break free from the hold and effects of this prisonizing environment.  The transition from the self-absorbed dynamics of the prisoner social structure to the mutual, interpersonal ideals of society is a difficult process.  This struggle to break free from the hold of prisonization is really a response to the call to be more human. The research method employed a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.  Volunteer readers submitted a pretest and a posttest utilizing a Likert scale format. They also wrote open-ended responses to seven evaluation questions. The quantitative analysis confirmed the thesis.
