It focuses on the promotion of short-term missions through a six-part sermon series that appeals for those in today's church to participate. Personal testimonies, video clips and other resources are also included. The students explore the biblical concept of calling and their own personal identity. The students are exposed to a variety of vocational ministry opportunities through guest speakers and observation of ministry settings. This project developed a seminar to encourage older women in practical godliness that they could teach in their churhces. The nine participants in Chimbote, Peru, were evaluated three months later to determine content remembered, behavioral impact, and experiences as they taught in their churches. This project introduces small group ministry to Grace Baptist Church of Cedarville, Ohio through the development and evaluation of a pilot program. This congregation's conservative roots, circumstances, and culture required strong biblical and theological evidence of the validity of small groups. A small group model was adopted and tested in a thirteen week pilot program. The model aimed to strengthen biblical community and spiritual formation. Crucial to the explanation of positive changes in the women was the spiritual dimension involving the fulfillment of the principles in Ephesians 4:1-16, leading to ministry within the body of Christ that eventuated in the mutual ministry of the participants to one another. God created humanity with the capacity to reflect intimacy. The human relationship that has the potential of the maximum degree of intimacy is in marriage. As the divine architect of marriage, God offers guidelines for insuring a healthy pursuit of marital intimacy. Thus this project has, with necessary limitations, developed a unit within the undergraduate course, 'Theology of marriage' at Central Bible College, describing a perspective of a theology of marital intimacy. The significance of the book of Revelation, especially Revelation 12 and 13, is presented as the theme book for developing a strong biblical foundation. Based on her study, this researcher recommends a stronger integration of biblical theology and missiology in order to establish a biblical foundation for spiritual warfare. In addition, this research suggests a need of a leadership or mission conference for the development of leaders in cross-cultural contexts.
