These factors include: spiritual preparation, leadership buy-in, the on-going communication of vision and philosophy, a healthy launch, congregational buy-in and successfully passing on the philosophical DNA of making disciples. The on-going communication of vision and philosophy was determined to be the most critical factor in this change process. This study also relates these factors to John Kotter's eight-stage process of change from his book Leading change (1996).
