The Bible, itself, reveals examples of familial problems between parent and child. Some modern authors have made suggestions of ways to better parent and child relationships. However, what about intergenerational barriers in the outer society, for example, in the church? Can one create a bridge between senior and youth members of a congregation through the use of storytelling or the sharing of life experiences and then using this connection as a venue in producing joint ministry experiences in a congregation? The purpose of this study is to answer these questions. This project is divided into four parts designed to bring the teenage and 50+ adult groups together with the final portion, also, serving as an evaluation opportunity. But how does the church speak its beliefs to those who refer to listen?  In this paper, the author suggests the use of music, designs a worship service comprised completely of music teaching a theology of restorative justice, and studies the reaction of people who hear the music. Using selected women, the writer facilitated discussions to provide a framework for female solidarity. Members of the Bible study group grew spiritually and attained a sense of belonging and connectedness as they shared beliefs, experiences, values, and needs. In chapter three he introduces the practice of Lectio Divina. The author has developed a model which uses core components of the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) combined with psalms and other faith-based resources to form a protocol for a faithful intervention in a crisis situation.
