This approach discourages the unqualified, burdens the dedicated and ensures instability and turnover due to boredom and burnout. A different model of ministry founded on mentoring from the clergy, leadership by the laity, and ministry through the group is now offered. This thesis will examine a model whereby a group comes into existence, in part, to recruit and train teachers."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791125685836709888,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:16:04.038Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:43:35Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:52:54Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"3861f879-50d9-431c-8fbb-5b914a12c924","accessControl_ssim":["2936add6-7e7c-4d72-8543-f983c13afea8"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Empowering grieving children with spiritual tools in their journey toward healing and recovery"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:43:34Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:45:59Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["335b93fb-e361-4288-b9ff-f9c6cb957a35"],"hasLease_ssim":["7e76d148-f3d8-486d-b3df-855c080a3dbf"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Howard Anderson","James E Farrer"],"year_tesim":["2005"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gloria Wade Dillon"],"keyword_tesim":["Practice (Theology)"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary (Dayton, OH)"],"subject_tesim":["Grief","Children--Religious life","Church work with children","Pastoral counseling"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The specific problem being investigated was how to engaged children in grief counseling after they had experienced the death of a parent or guardian. The project placed a particular emphasis upon the youth. The context was Grace Reformed Church, Brooklyn, New York. A youth worship service and a vacation Bible school were developed to provide experience and education in God awareness and self-awareness in God. Context associates and senior youth were trained and taught by the researcher in order to develop leaders in the subject area. For six weeks, classroom sessions were held twice a week and the youth conducted the youth worship service on Sundays. The action research model and case study analysis revealed that this intervention improved the general behavior of the youth and indicated a greater commitment to the church of God by young people and adults."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["United Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["f0f9c284-37b6-440c-96ab-39e6509e82ee"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129935588360192,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:23:36.917Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:43:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:56:41Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"9e5523c7-5083-4252-bf86-3cff11fd957f","accessControl_ssim":["b0f08ce9-2a41-46d3-912b-24611a94aab0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["An exploration of the impact of dispensationalism on end-times topics"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:43:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:45:43Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["f3dd60a0-fcae-49f6-9d00-914b4168478b"],"hasLease_ssim":["f0c4c9b5-fde9-4a7e-a416-ad90bd2cb765"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Reformed Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["S Donald Fortson"],"year_tesim":["2006"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Daniel R Heeringa"],"publisher_tesim":["Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte campus"],"subject_tesim":["Baptists--Doctrines","Dispensationalism","Secona Baptist Church (Pickens, SC)","Eschatology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Provides an exploration and examination of the impact of dispensationalism particularly upon the members of Secona Baptist Church.
