The curriculum was developed based on the words of Jesus, 'Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men' (Mk. 1:17 NAS).  The selected believers participated in the developed six-week discipleship study that contained two weeks on following Jesus, two weeks on Jesus' conforming the believer and two weeks on the Christian's responsibility in soul winning.  The study included group meetings followed by daily, individual lessons, Monday through Friday.  The participants were evaluated before, during, and after the study. Thus there are significant implications in this elusive quality for various modes of artistic expression as well as for inter-religious dialogue and understanding. A survey questionnaire was used to identify the interest in participating in such a model and the structural design for the model. Development of the project included the preparation and delivery of doctrinal sermons and the utilization of young adults within the congregation, ages 20 to 39, as recipients and resources to provide sermon analysis.  The project director utilized the ministry-skill enhancement model.  Six doctrinal surveys were completed by the participants prior to a six-part doctrinal sermon series. The Korean immigrants have experienced great growth since they first came to Hawaii in 1903. The Korean church in America has also undergone tremendous growth. First of all, this study presents the history of Korean immigration to the United States and the accompanying growth of the church in various stages from 1903 to the present. In addition, the study analyzes the results of a survey on what kind of leadership Korean American church congregation members desire. Many of Korean American church congregation members want the servant leadership model for their pastors because they have difficulty adapting to their new life in America. They suffer physical and mental stresses and depression arising from life as a minority group in a foreign land. From the research the project director designed a curriculum to equip the parents to train their children selected disciplines.
