Hence, in light of the Reformed theology of missio Dei (the mission of God), an evangelism and discipleship strategy can be formed for CEC to be more effective to minister to these Mainland Chinese intellectuals. In the sermons attached, preached during the fall of 2004 in a rural congregation on the west coast of Sweden, I have tried to use specific concrete details, as a means to convey God's love.  During the process, much of the focus moved, from the question of using details in general, to the more specific question of how to convey grace.  It became very clear to me, how easy it is to be specific and concrete in describing the law, or the problems in this world, and how difficult it is to be concrete as to grace and God's presence.  Very often that part is expressed more in abstractions and principals, by way of which you risk to leave people with a vivid experience of the law, and a sense of despair, as God's intervention seems so weak.  The conclusion of the thesis is that it is utterly important for the preaching, to move closer. In seeking an entire congregational response to one particular devotional, I hope to develop patterns and habits of daily devotions and therefore, motivate more of the congregation to seek spiritual nurture through daily devotions once the seasons outlined in this devotion are completed.  This devotion is a thematic, word study devotional.  We explore one topic or theme for each week examining the many ways a particular word or word group is used in the Old and New Testaments. It is written from the perspective that this integration was seen by Murray as consistent with the divine pattern, and that it is the key to understanding the essence of the man and his ministry. The work begins with a brief biographical sketch of Murray's life and career, followed by a survey of the biblical-theological foundation on which his commitment to keeping the two truths of revival and missions together was built. The project then explores Murray's understanding of the church's unhealthy condition, along with his description of what was necessary for her to be restored to health. A significant part of their jobs is to preach in churches on a regular basis both for deputation purposes and for teaching and equipping believers.  A concern raised by some missionaries is that they are not fully prepared for this role.  This program is one step toward trying to address those concerns.  The majority of the work was spent in researching and writing a commentary on Romans 9-11.  This portion of Scripture for a missionary to the Jews is crucial in understanding both God's plan for Israel and the importance and priority of Jewish evangelism.  It also is a place where the Apostle Paul shares his heart, regarding his Jewish brethren, to his readers.  The project concludes by detailing a six day preaching seminar for missionaries to Chosen People Ministries.
