Therefore, Kingdom evangelism ultimately seeks a revolution in ecclesiology.  Not the church in and for itself but the church in and for the world is at stake in Kingdom evangelism. The study attempted to equip thirteen participants for this challenge by involving them in cognitive, affective, active, and votive dimensions of learning.  The project initiated: 1) dialogue with the poor; 2) involvement in an unfair job situation; 3) interest in a local advocacy group.  The study evaluated these results by interpreting session tape recordings, leaders' observations, and participants' written evaluations. The study employed a retrospective analysis of demographic and diagnostic data on treatment records from 112 patients who received individual treatment at the agency in 1986. Thirty-two percent of referrals were from pastors, most of whom were from mainline Protestant denominations. Marital complaints were cited most often among patients. Chi-Square analyses indicated patients referred by pastors were no different than those from other sources. Clergy respondents prefer a leadership style of people orientation.  In transitional communities, church growth is correlated with population changes and church programming. The context of this project is the psychology of Carl Jung and the spirituality of John of the Cross.  Their perspectives are utilized in formulating and implementing a psychospiritual model of adult development.  The model challenges our story and guides us on the human journey. The model can be adapted to various areas of ministry. This project highlights the model's usefulness for pastoral counseling.  The qualitative study provided some initial insights that are tentative and inconclusive. The project instructs worship leaders and congregations in the overall theology of baptism and how to express that theology through the design and implementation of a baptismal liturgy.  The project was implemented in two phases.  The first was an eight-week study of the institution, meanings, and practice of baptism. The second phase was to design and implement a baptismal liturgy that focused on the celebration of baptism as an act of worship.
