The pastoral task presented in this project is to guide individuals through a lifetime of experience through liturgy, teaching and preaching in which they face the reality of death in nonthreatening ways.  This process frees parishioners to live apart from the fear of death. Examples of spiritual guides who have achieved that freedom are St Monica, St Bernard of Clairvaux, Martin Luther, John Arndt, Paul Gerhardt, J S Bach, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Venture in Faith shares the physical facilities and several programs.  The study explores difficulties encountered in reaching the agreement and also current concerns.  It projects future possibilities for mutual mission.
