Questionnaires were sent to 34 churches, groups, or individuals around the world, who were involved in a small group ministry.  Out of this research, several convictions grew which gave direction to our approach.  The necessity of building discipleship of a corporate nature caused us to investigate the level of desire among previously 'discipled' people in the church.  A Leadership Training Group Manual and two leadership training groups were developed.  Nine couples and one individual were equipped for this ministry. Six CPE students were attached to appropriate amplifiers and a personal computer both administered the statements of the profile and recorded the physiological responses.  As hypothesized, students created increased physiological responses to particular profile statements which were stressful to them. The author used the three guidelines of Drucker's Management by Objective as the process whereby the center was planned, implemented, and evaluated. Ninety-six persons received professional counseling by a certified pastoral counselor.  A survey of presenting problems of the counselees indicates that a majority of issues centered around difficulties in marriage, family relationships, and personal struggles such as feelings of inferiority and depression. Flory identified with great missionaries; her faith and intelligence, undergirded by enormous energy and drive, created so many ideas and involved so many people she was uncontainable. Sixty-one percent of the congregation par ticipated in the project, resulting in a 7 percent increase in commitment of time and a 12 percent increase in monetary pledges. The control group had no data.  They engaged in faith discussions and adminstered semantic differential scales. The emotional impact upon children and parents is presented. The biblical-theological foundations of post-divorce adjustment are viewed with the aspect of forgiveness as a primary element in adjustment and decreasing stress in the post-divorce period.  Research was accomplished through a library survey of behavioral science and legal data, along with interviews of family counselors and judges.
