This doctoral project involved three parts. First, the project director researched the field of team ministry through the creation of an annotated bibliography, focusing on the topics of team ministry and leadership. The information gathered from the annotated bibliography was used to create a report on best team ministry practices. Second, the project director utilized this information to develop a team ministry workshop. This workshop was comprised of four sessions that were each divided into two parts. The project included four phases. The first phase of the project explored the field of worship revitalization in order to determine the best practices. The second phase of the project required the project director to conduct an internal and external demographic study to determine the continuity between the worship practices of Stetson Baptist Church and its surrounding community. In the third phase of the project, the project director led a select team of worship ministry leaders to develop a worship revitalization strategy for Stetson Baptist Church. In the final phase of the project, the project director presented the strategy to the Church Council and Pastoral Staff of Stetson Baptist Church for approval. The evaluation methods for this project included expert opinions in the researched sources, the development of a prayer survey, the training materials, the formation of the strategy, and the presentation methods used for the strategy. The project director used the Preaching Skills Enhancement Model to design the project. He began by researching the current trends in collaborative preaching and sermon preparation. Based on this research, he developed a process for sermon preparation that included collaborative skills. The director studied the effectiveness of this process by developing six sermons with a sermon-planning team of selected elders and lay leaders from Christview Christian Church. Without building a strong relationship with Heavenly Father, one cannot easily stand firm when facing the challenges from work or temptations from the world especially in this postmodern 21st century metropolitan Toronto.  Interviews with pastors who are held highly in reputation and have long lasting ministry experiences have been conducted.  Their rich and real life sharings definitely will serve as a precious resource for this dissertation. Epistles of Paul"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Although independent Baptist pastoral training institutions have served the Spanish-speaking church in Latin America for decades, most have become stagnated in academic development and institutional advancement.  The purpose of this study was to develop a strategic plan that will encourage these institutions to pursue an accreditation model.  This study identified five impediments to this pursuit. 1.         Insufficient academic preparation of professors2.         Excessive government restrictions3.         Poor economic situation in country4.         Lack of interest/Lack of knowledge of benefits5.         Low academic level of studentsThis quantitative data was obtained through a Delphi survey of twenty-two individuals from three distinct subgroups: (1) Independent Baptist missionaries actively involved in pastoral training in Spanish-speaking Latin America, (2) Independent Baptist Hispanic pastors or professors who were trained in Latin America and who retain involvement in this ministry, and (3) Independent Baptist theological educators who have experience with the accreditation process.  Through the Delphi survey the participants suggested the above-mentioned impediments to the pursuit of an accreditation model.  The Delphi expert panel also provided qualitative data by sharing additional insight into the nature of the impediments through comments made within the survey and personal conversations with the author.Once the five impediments had been identified a Delphi support team worked with the author to develop a strategic plan to address each impediment.  Specific goals were set, and action steps were identified. This can hinder cross-cultural discipleship and engagement. In addition, one rhythm is glaringly absent in our discipleship: lament. Lament is essential to cross-cultural discipleship. This paper will explore the relationship between lament and cross-cultural discipleship.
