The unit of analysis was the method used for successful discipleship multiplication, and the data was analyzed using the constant comparative method. The program emphasized a team approach to grief ministry that, when implemented, enables church members to meet the needs of the grieving. A pre-test/post-test was designed and employed with results showing significant differences. The results were attributed to the training of the selected members. The recommendation of these members was for this program to be implemented within the church to train more members in personal grief ministry traits."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5e492469-490e-44a3-90c1-17560a603bc2"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799715863104847872,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:53:15.472Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:41:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:36:33Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"41afbe6f-e59c-4fce-9655-41ad601fd525","accessControl_ssim":["9d50dde5-423c-444f-9c6b-1670c7b2430f"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["How bivocational pastors understand the theology of work"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:41:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:02:10Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["0fdc3048-638d-436b-8560-7a477dd00b39"],"hasLease_ssim":["4a3c8135-89cf-4f0f-8f60-c229df992a18"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Bruce McRae"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gary D Erickson"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["United Pentecostal Church International","Clergy--Secular employment","Work--Religious aspects--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The researcher attempted to determine how bivocational pastors understand the theology of work using a qualitative research methodology. However, it is unclear how and where they are being equipped. The purpose of this study was to explore how career worship directors became equipped for long-term vocational worship ministry in the Reformed church. The study utilized a qualitative design using semi-structured interviews with ten worship directors, analyzed in a constant comparative method. The research explored experiences from childhood through the early years of church work that developed their musicality, spiritual formation, leadership skills, and Reformed theology of worship. This study concluded that the local church, academic institutions with quality music programs, and Reformed academic institutions, can have a significant influence in the development of worship directors in Reformed churches."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131456341278720,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:47:47.220Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:41:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:35:16Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"2ed26b50-8064-4d13-8c06-5ab1e262bc16","accessControl_ssim":["91b484c7-6296-4e1b-91d4-6ee4b5e35241"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Making room: freedom in non-essentials in the multiracial church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:41:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:29:44Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["f7d3f584-6a04-4195-847d-af8d4a9bcb0a"],"hasLease_ssim":["32973e42-c2b1-480a-84eb-2e9746f1d765"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Greg Perry"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Michael Anthony Campbell"],"publisher_tesim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Cultural pluralism","Congregations","Race relations","Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this study was to determine how congregants in one southern multiracial church utilize adiaphora to foster multiracial inclusion.
