The congregation participated in a seven-week course on corporate prayer. Through surveys and a filmed group evaluation, the project director was able to assess the effectiveness of the project. To empower Christian educators, they participated in ten training sessions learning biblical, theological, and historical information, as well as teaching strategies and learning styles. Christian education is the vehicle used to assist in the faith formation of students as they move towards social action. Methodology used for qualitative data collection included a pre-survey, need assessment, and post-survey. Through personal study, conversations with people in the church, and biblical material, I have attempted to understand the characteristics of the postmodern seeker. The homiletical response to the seeker will focus upon the biblical story that God is the most important seeker. The intent of this study is to document Market Street Church's experience with the congregational Living Will as a means of presenting an intentional and collaborative approach to significant church life transitions such as closure. IPR is effective for interpersonal skills training among clergy and seminary students. Can it be used to improve communication skills (articulating, listening, self-disclosure, openness, and conflict resolution) of parishioners in a United States Air Force (USAF) chapel?
