During this 8-week project, students engaged in personal and communal spiritual grwoth activities using various technologies including Samford's learning management system, synchronous videoconferencing, text-based mobile applications, and a Christian video repository.  This project resulted in 50 percent of participants showing evidence toward attaining outcomes, which exceeded the goal of 33 percent. With the expansion of human life span where four generation families are no longer a novelty, there could soon be families with more people expecting to be served than available hands to serve. Mental health providers are developing treatment plans.  Yet chaplains and other faith leaders also specialize in guilt, shame, and forgiveness. The project director coached two team leaders to utilize a new tool for the Army's mandated regular performance counseling.  The supervisors utilized the tool monthly for three cycles.  The supervisory relationship and soldier resiliency after the three iterations was compared to before the project to observe changes. The small group leaders who have served for over 4 years have experienced fatigues and burnouts.  Prior to this project, the church did not have a process to help recovering fatigued leaders.  In response to this specific need, the candidate developed and implemented a training program that included lecture, mentoring, practice of various spiritual disciplines, sharing of experiences, and positive encouragement and feedback from peers to help the small group leaders to recover from fatigues and burnouts.  This program prepared the leaders to serve the Lord with renewed strength and spiritual vigor. In the course of 3 months, participants and the candidate learned skills and attitudes to spirituality stay fresh and strong by seeking intimacy with the Lord through exercising various spiritual disciplines. The project involved recruiting a team, training the team in evangelism, identifying and meeting community needs, building relationships with unsaved persons in the church's neighborhood, and presenting the gospel as opporunity arose.
