Eighteen (18) participants completes a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire that produced inconclusive results. An additional inquiry revealed the following. The men will not come forward to lead. There is lack of training. Some believe that the women control everything. The members are afraid of responsibility and criticism. Some believe that no problem exists. Ten Likert statements and three survey questions were designed to discover the mistakes that, destroy trust, prevent unity, and inhibit change. The discovery survey revealed nine common mistakes, the greatest of which was behavior which caused a lack of trust. the two methods of collecting data revealed inconsistencies in congregant responses between the Likert statements and the survey questions. Nine women participated in the project. The eight week process included pre and posttest surveys. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were used to determine impact. Results indicate that participants gained significant awareness of their healing process and experienced measurable positive impact on their identity in Christ and on their experience of heart to heart encounter with Jesus. A Likert Scale and a series of open ended questions measured the impact that this resource had upon the participants. The findings revealed that although this resource made a positive impact upon the participants' well-being, it did not adequately attend to the subject of grieving losses through lament. The importance of lament in the process of grief is not widely understood. The goals were measured in a survey including eighteen statements ranked on a seven-point Likert Scale and six open-ended statements giving respondents their own voice. The results show a fairly high regard for orthodoxy with some anomalies indicating postmodern cultural influences. Over a hundred church planter wives from a variety of denominations voluntarily completed a survey about their ministry contributions and six key factors. The survey exposed how the wife of the church planter is considerably involved with her husband's mission to start a new church, and her ministry contributions were especially influenced by her sense of God's calling and her employment status. This study determined through surveys, interviews, and research behaviors these pastors believed effective for church growth and the application of these behaviors in the church. The most important discovery that the author made was the state of disconnect among many pastors between what they believed about church growth and what was practiced in the local church. This state of disconnect may be a factor in church decline. This dissertation encouraged church leaders to do total mobilization through the two main wings of a successful evangelism event, which are fervent prayer ministry and cooperative service ministry. The ministry of Jesus and the early church demonstrated how prayer and service ministry promote effective evangelism. The history of the Korean church's evangelism methods and the crusade evangelism in the United States revealed that fervent prayer and service ministry determined the effectiveness of total mobilization.
