The project director completed the project by meeting three main goals: (1) reserached the fields of member assimilation and multicultural ministry in order to determine skills for a multicultural context; (2) developed a training curriculum in order to equip selected members of First Baptist Church of Central Florida with assimilation skills for a multicultural context; and (3) equipped selected mmebers of First Baptist Church of Central Florida with assimilation skills for a multicultural context. Mutiple evaluation methods and tools including observation instruments, surveys, literary reserach, expert evaluators, and ministerial reflection were used to measure the achievements of the goals. The project director researched and developed a profile of the local Deaf community, examined ministry evangelism and developed a report of best practices, created a ministry evangelism strategy, and presented the completed strategy to the pastoral staff of Central Baptist Church for approval and endorsement.  The project director engaged expert evaluation, research, surveys, observation instruments, and pre- and post-tests. In addition to a supportive process the project sought to address the spiritual dimensions of the cancer experience.  Three models for reflection were tested: Jesus' Paschal Mystery, the religious practice of pilgrimage and the stations of the cross.  Using surveys, as well as discussion and observation over six weeks, data show an improvement in how the women saw their experience. Three examples of successful adoptions were studied in a multiple case study design. The researcher's thesis was that by studying past church adoptions we can begin to understand, describe, and possibly even quantify a process that will lead to more successful adoptions in the future. Results describe optimal conditions and best practices, as well as a framework based on John Kotter's Eight Steps for Leading Change. Through a workshop, selected pastors will learn relevant skills in church revitalization discovered during the research phase of this project. An annotated bibliography will be produced to serve as the source material for the workshop. A questionnaire will be given to the pastors concerning revitalization skills prior to the start of the workshop. The workshop will assist the participants in increasing their understanding of the field of church revitalization and some of the needed skills in church revitalization. The project uses semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and participatory group observation to collect data on change in clergy participants' leadership of missional growth before and after implementation of skills derived from the practice of midwifery.  The data collected measures change in discernment ability and effectiveness in advancing mission. We believe God has equipped us to do work to this end, through local churches. What is often lacking is awareness of the divine call to specific areas of service. I used individual interviews, asking people about their experience in service and any sense of divine guidance, and followed each interview with an online assessment of spiritual gifts. There clearly is a correlation between service, divine guidance, and spiritual gifts.
