The first step involved an in-depth study of FBCH's attendance trends from 2005 to 2015 based on the annual church profile reports and recorded church history. The project director compared discipleship strategies of churches with similar characteristics and conducted a survey of church leaders to determine the current condition of FBCH discipleship. The research showed that FBCH plateaued in attendance from 2008 to 2013. The project director determined that FBCH needed a disciple-making strategy that led to multiplication and focused on transformation. Habitual sin patterns threaten to destroy the vitality of our spiritual lives and derail us from accomplishing God's purposes in our lives. The intent of this project was to show that there is a way for believers in Christ to overcome habitual sin patterns. This applied research project used the survey method to investigate some primary factors that have contributed to the growth of GCCP. This is for the benefit of GCCP herself as well as for other Chinese churches in the Philippines. This study answered the research question, 'What are some primary factors associated with new members of the last 10 years (2005-2015) joining Grace Christian Church of the Philippines?' The research examined the three factors of Pulpit Ministry, Culture Change, and Vision as primary factors of church growth. This study looked at pulpit preaching and its central importance in the life of the church. It also examined culture in the church and the change process and why these are important factors to consider when implementing change. Then, it explored how vision and its casting are essential to give the church direction and purpose. The results of the survey indicated that the Pulpit Ministry, Culture Change, and Vision were indeed primary factors of church growth at GCCP from 2005 to 2015.At a time when Chinese churches in the Philippines are stagnant or declining in numbers, Grace Christian Church of the Philippines (GCCP) is one of the fastest-growing Chinese churches in the Philippines in the past decade. The project director then developed church revitalization strategy sessions and a resulting church revitalization strategy for Calvary Baptist Church, New Orleans, Louisiana, utilizing a selected group of leaders and experts. The pastors were interviewed regarding 3 aspects of their upbringing; 'the relationship of the parents and their parenting method' 'the relationship between the pastors and their siblings' and 'how birth order within the family affects the pastors.' The content of the interviews have been organized, analyzed, and compared with literature and theory. This research project seeks to establish the value of lament rituals to promote self-awareness and grief expression for medical staff as they serve patients in Palliative Care, Intensive Care and Emergency Rooms, by witnessing and experiencing the provision of lament rituals to medical professional staff by spiritual care. Spirituality provides a safe space for medical professional staff to explore their own sources of hope while confronting illness in the journey of life. This thesis reports the findings from a six-month training course delivered to a group of actively serving chairpersons in the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada. The thesis project was designed utilizing the concepts of action research. Chair participants and two board governance experts evaluated the effectiveness of course. Board members from the participant's congregation assessed the impact of the course on the Chair's confidence and performance.
