The Day-Long Lay Leadership Retreat was expected to train the United Methodist Church Book of Discipline mandated Administrative Committees. Its case study utilizes results of the City-wide Evangelism project in Hong Kong (1999-2003). 'Corporate hearing' is then examined from Biblical, theological, and management perspectives. These confirm the need for unity of a small, committed number, forming a 'critical mass' and enabling 'team leadership'. This project followed the equipping program model.
