The project was designed to enable pastoral and congregational leadership to lead changes that would help the congregation include persons from various immigrant communities in their neighborhood, with an eye to the spiritual, corporate renewal of the church. The thesis seeks to test out insights from these two fields with six preachers who were invited to preach at least one homily on a controversial issue. A set of pre-class questionnaires was designed with two purposes: one purpose was to collect data through the online questionnaires for the youth ministry advisors and ministers; the other purpose was to interview adolescent disciples of the second generation from churches.     The results revealed that daily life experiences with the Lord were the main drivers for the growth of young Christians. The design of the project included three sections to identify the demographics of the participants; a five-point Ligert scale to capture the attitudes of the participants on the subject matter; and an evaluation of the study.     The results of this study revealed that the participants that a ministry to the incarcerated. The workship schedule consisted of nine sessions held on Thursdays with approval by the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) and the administration of MSP. The selected group consisted of thirteen IRAs, and each session lasted approximately two hours. The project director addressed the following pastoral issues: pastoral ministry skills, comfort and caring skills, anger management skills (two sessions), counseling skills, interpersonal relationship skills, listening skills, and suicide prevention skills before closing the workship with a final summary session. The writer revisited Korean Christianity and reclaimed the Trinitarian concepts of relationship with respect to healing and recovery. One of the findings is that the precepts of early Korean Christianity was based on the doctrine of the Trinity, which seemed to be missing in relation to the North Korean refugees' ministry. The findings rest on interviews with leaders of five effective Chinese churches of NYC (BCCC, FaBC, FiBC, NYCAC, and OCM), InterVarsity, and Seekers.
