In response to this problem the researcher explored the pastoral vision, sacramental views and ministry philosophy of Ulrich Zwingli. The 127 participants were given a 5-point Likert scale with 12 questions to discover why, and a section to evaluate the study. The data revealed that the participants disagreed with the suggestions that were offered on the 5-point Likert scale as to why the Black churches were not involved in social activism. The Prepare-Enrich Group Program was implemented over a six week course and effectiveness of the purpose was measured using participant assessments that were administered previous to the program start and after the course was complete. The program clearly impacted the participating couples, primarily in the areas of self-awareness, conflict resolution, and increased satisfaction. The project was intended to effect the spiritual, emotional, mental, and behavioral well-being of its participants as individuals and spouses. The participants assessed the project's impact using a pre-test and post-test questionnaire based on the Likert scale model. Results indicate that participants were impacted relative to each project goal. This project surveyed past and present video partners to help determine whether the partnerships were or are achieving those goals. The results discovered that the challenges faced are not unique to Christian African American women, but are relevant to all African American women. This project assessed the effectiveness of integrational ministry to single mother-led households in DuPage County, Illinois. Exegesis of key biblical passages revealed that these families were analogous to the widows and orphans in the biblical text. Data was collected via surveys of both church leadership and single mothers to determine ministry effectiveness to these families. Focus groups of ministry leaders used the survey data to assess current local church ministry and determine areas of needed improvement.
