The study expressed the truth that God is intensely and intimately interested in humanity. Control and experimental groups were selected and pretested.  The experimental group completed a spiritual gifts questionnaire, were given ministry opportunities, and both groups were posttested after twelve weeks.  Assimilation did occur in the areas of belonging, social interaction and positive perceptions about the church. An evangelistic program entitled the ISAAC plan (Inviting Senior Adults to Accept Christ) was established. Two tests were administered to the seminar group. The Intrinsic/Extrinsic scale designed by Gordon Allport was given to measure religious orientation.  A test designed by Howard Garfinkel was administered to measure the increase in differentiation of self from one's family of origin.
