It designed and tested a thirty-six hour workshop that helped eleven participants learn: 1) ways of identifying burnout; 2) what effects burnout can have on one's spiritual and physical conditions; and 3) ways clergy can equip themselves to cope with burnout and retain their effectiveness as ministers.  The project developed three instruments: a Self-Evaluation Survey on Burnout; a Fatigue Factor Survey; and a Participant's Evaluation Form.  This process was successful in raising participants' consciousness about burnout. The project focuses on three tasks: 1) defining the role of RCIA sponsorship for St Paul's Parish; 2) designing and implementing a method of RCIA sponsor recruitment for the parish; and 3) designing and implementing an RCIA sponsor training program for St Paul's.  The document outlines the process involved in completing these three tasks, suggests a theological basis for sponsorship, and presents one model for recruiting and training RCIA sponsors. It studies how the Yoruba culture, arts, traditions, theology, and philosophy affect preaching.  It asks how to use such elements to produce positive results according to Christian ideals.  The study includes eight sessions of field work where participants are exposed to the aspects of Yoruba Christian worship. The project then considers research on Yoruba Christian history, customs and practices.  Many participants returned evaluation forms. The project developed six different models for the telling of: 1) each person's pilgrimage of faith and 2) the Christ story.  The participants experienced each method and selected those sections that applied to their own experience, theology and conversational style.  With these selections each person designed his or her own method of faith-sharing.  The goal was to develop a way of sharing the faith that was natural and comfortable for each person. These ceremonies are dynamic and energizing.  They are the deepest level of life where God's presence is celebrated. Ordained and non-ordained church members need to come to grips with the theological implications of the ceremonies and increase skills for public leadership of ceremonies. Barriers which prevent many non-ordained persons from full participation are examined.  The project involved questionnaires, worshops, retreats and an evaluation.  The ministry on worship department worked closely with the pastor.  Self-esteem is one issue that must be taken into account as the congregation seeks to involve the non-ordained in public ceremonies. It also seeks to define the limitations involved in working with borderline clients. The study highlights the existential and pathological anxieties operating within borderline clients.  Pastoral psychotherapists should scrutinize the theological issues which pertain to borderline clients which are presented in the paper. In addition this theology is a new movement which grows out of a specific Latin American context.
