Abstract
  • Theological education must be transformative in both content and approach. The author of this study explores the perspectives and contributions of five historical figures to the development of education in the Christian church. Through a range of ideas, these educators shape the transformative perspective through an appreciation of God the creator as the center of learning, the shared divine and human roles in the education process, and the valuing of humanity in education.
