Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to prepare a study guide to help pastors and church leaders gain a greater knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the Baptist association. Associations have been very important theologically and historically because they reflect the cooperative nature of Baptists. They are an underutilized resource in Latin America due to the lack of printed material. The study guide is prepared in English; however, it is also available in Spanish. The course is divided into eight sessions: biblical base, historical base, purpose, relationships, organization, structure, and the formation of a Baptist association.
