Three marriage enrichment programs were compared to identify their strengths. The project examined theological presuppositions, descriptions of each enrichment program, evaluations of the results of each program, and many of the sources for marriage enrichment. The theological presuppositions came out of the examination of selected scriptures, and how Baptists have hisorically interpreted those in their statements of faith. The evaluation compared the scores of a pre-session and post-session 'marital communication inventory'. These scores indicated areas of improvement in communication. Each program has its strengths and weaknesses based on the intensity of the sessions, cost, and guidance by leaders.
