Abstract
  • This project incorporated a two-phase discipleship component into the curriculum of the Mediterranean Bible College, Beirut, Lebanon. The Introduction to Discipleship was offered during the first semester and focused on biblical foundations, theory and practice, and participation in a discipling relationship. During the second semester students were invited into a discipling relationship with the instructor. Students were surveyed at the beginning of the year regarding their assurance of salvation, commitment to ministry, knowledge, commitment, and overall confidence to discipleship in ministry. The surveys indicated an increase in discipleship knowledge, confidence in ministry and an increased commitment.
