Abstract
  • Christ commanded his followers to evangelize. In the twentieth century, soul winning plans grew in number. How does a person decide to use one outline or another? this study provides a biblical framework for evaluating soul winning presentations. The following five questions provide the biblical focus for evaluation: 1. does the presentation recognize God as the initiator of salvation; 2. does the presentation recognize that salvation is responding to Christ's call and following him; 3. does the presentation recognize that salvation involves community with other followers of Christ; 4. does the presentation recognize the high value God places on the personhood of individuals; and 5. does the presentation recognize the interdependence of the Spirit and the scriptures in soul winning? known and published soul winning outlines are evaluated.
