Abstract
  • This project was developed to provide a course of instruction designed primarily for young Egyptian Christians under thirty to enable them to critically evaluate their television viewing in light of the perception of human beings as articulated by reformed theology. The course of instruction was developed on the basis of interviews with nine church leaders and the administration of a questionnaire to 120 randomly chosen young Egyptian Christians. Through the church young Christians need to be aware of the negative effects and the manipulative power of television programs and its images and values which are contradictory to those of Christianity and the Egyptian Christian world view and values.
