Abstract
  • A compassionate ministry to persons with AIDS/HIV builds upon a firm commitment of faithfulness that empowers one to feel and act with compassion. Biblical and theological imperatives and broad-based social science research on the nature of AIDS/HIV are essential components in nurturing and cultivating this ministry of compassion. The research methodology is based on the praxis/pastoral circle of practical theology, with a dialogue of ministerial experiences, Angel's journal, social sciences, and theological reflection to persons with AIDS/HIV. The dialogue generates guidelines and recommendations for ministry to persons with AIDS/HIV.
