Abstract
  • This project presents an evangelistic, biblically based, multi-racially and multi-culturally sensitive approach for church planting based on the Great Commission, Great Commandment and the model of the New Testament church. An exegesis of the multi-racial, multi-cultural makeup, which characterizes the Puget Sound region, is examined, and cultural dynamics and accompanying challenges are identified, understood, and articulated. From this evaluation, a paradigm is developed that can be transferred for usage in any evangelical church planting effort considering the challenge of ministering in a demographically diverse region.
