- Abstract
- This project explores how a cohort of congregation members of a PCUSA congregation in central Pennsylvania experience their faith at work, and the effect of their participation in a curriculum focused on Reformed understandings of vocation in increasing their sense of being a faithful witness to Christ in their workplace. The curriculum emphasizes Martin Luther’s doctrine of vocation and the Priesthood of All Believers, and contemporary theological treatments of vocation by Miroslav Volf and Daryl Charles. It affirms that God created humanity to serve Christ by serving neighbors at work and has equipped us with gifts to pursue that calling.
