Abstrakt

The purpose of the ministry research project was to assist Georgia Baptist Medical Center in providing an intentional pastoral counseling ministry to infertile couples who have received minimal care for the emotional and spiritual effects of infertility. The ministry was offered to a group of four infertile couples during eight group sessions for a total of twelve contact hours. A pretest/posttest questionnaire was given to the couples. Information was evaluated concerning the effect infertility has on the couple's theology, communication and relationships with family, friends and church community.
